Thank you!

May 23, 2018

We did it! After 4 weeks of campaigning, which ended on Thursday the 17th, we reached and surpassed our goal! Thank you so much to everyone for your help!

We are now fully funded for this first year's project, with money to spare. Any spare funds will be transitioned to next year's project, so thanks for supporting us for this first year and the next! Keep an eye out for updates and progress reports, as well as possible news publications!

With deep gratitude,

The HARP Team

Last chance!

May 16, 2018

Dear all,

It is kind of incredible how much money we have raised for being in our first semester of development and first crowdfunding campaign. I am filled with gratitude towards each and every friend, family, acquaintance, and stranger who has donated towards our campaign. Thank you for supporting us in our venture and helping us make this project a reality!

As we are less than 24 hours away from closing our campaign, we want to try and make a final push to reach our final goal. For those of you considering making a contribution to our project, I assure you that the funds will directly benefit the team in completing this year’s High Altitude Rocketry Program vehicle. We are so close to reaching our projected project cost of $10,000. By reaching our final goal of $8,000 through crowdfunding, and given the $2,000 grant from the College of Engineering, the project will be fully funded this year! Please make your contribution today or otherwise share our campaign with other members of your network!

Thank you all again for helping us out by contributing to our campaign, sharing with friends, family, and acquaintances, and showing support towards our ambitious goal for this year’s two-stage high altitude rocket!

Sincerely,

Alexis Thoeny

Incredible progress!

May 02, 2018

Wow!

We reached our goal yesterday. AGAIN. It amazing that through sharing with friends, family, and acquaintances, we were able to reach our stretch goal of $6,000 in the same amount of time as our initial goal! We are just over half way into our campaign, which leaves us with a choice. Either enable a new stretch goal or be happy with what we have. The project cost for this year is $10,000, however, we set a conservative initial crowdfunding goal to be realistic. We have received $2,000 from the College of Engineering for funding, and as such, this leaves us $2,000 left to fully fund the project this year.

With this in mind, we are making a final push by setting the campaign goal to $8,000. This final goal will secure project fruition and we have only 14 days left to get there! Thank you so, so much to everyone who has donated already, everyone on the HARP team sincerely appreciates your contribution. Please continue to share with acquaintances, friends, and family, and if you haven’t already, please make your contribution today to support the SJSU Rocket Club’s High Altitude Rocketry Program!

Thank you,

the HARP team

Exciting News!

April 24, 2018

Friends, family, and supporters,

Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach our original goal of $4000. We are overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude! Everyone who donated and helped spread the word about our endeavor has helped us reach our goal in just 6 days since the start of our campaign. With these donations, we are now able to fund most auxiliary components of the vehicle such as the flight computers and GPS systems, parachutes, and action cameras. That being said, we still need to purchase the propulsion systems and large components such as the airframe(s) and composite structures. With this in mind, we are increasing our goal to $6,000 and still have 23 days to get there.

Please continue sharing with your network, friends, and family, and if you haven’t already done so, please make your gift today to support the SJSU Rocket Club’s High Altitude Rocketry Program!

Thank you!
