Great news!

November 24, 2019

Hello Supporters!

We are proud to announce great news! On October 31st our team submitted a proposal to the AIAA DBF competition with our preliminary design and calculations. On November 22nd, we received a notice that our proposal was accepted into the competition. Out of all the applications, only 141 were deemed valid entries, and 113 of those proposals were accepted. Not only that, our team proposal was scored 13th out of the 113 accepted proposals. Some of our larger competitors also in California such as CalTech and Stanford received significantly lower scores. We have been putting in a lot of work and are incredibly excited to hear that we are off to a great start.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our campaign so far, your donations will make our aspirations a reality. We still have 10 days left to reach our goal so if you haven't already done so, please make your gift today. Your help forwarding this message to others who may be interested in supporting our cause will also go a long way. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Kiana Luongo

Team President

Two weeks to go!

November 18, 2019

Dear supporters,

We have reached 33% of our goal as of writing this update.  We are extremely grateful for the support you have shown us and continue to provide.  We have some project updates for you as well.

Update 1: We have finalized our design parameters and are honing in on the final details and model.  We are hoping to have the initial prototype computerized model done by the next update.

Update 2: We began testing our propulsion systems and banner tow system through empirical tests and hope to finalize those this week as well.

We are getting closer to our goal and you can still support us by sharing our project and dream with your friends and family.

Thank you!
