Chemical and Materials Engineering Student Engagement in Research Funding Opportunities

SJSU’s Chemical and Materials Engineering programs are strong because of the exposure our students get to hands-on, open ended research. Your support can help make these experiences even more beneficial and ensure all students in the program have access to the benefits of learning through the exploration of cutting edge topics in our fields.

Support for Students to Attend Professional Conferences

Do you remember the first professional conference you attended- finding others who shared your passion and being excited by all the new things going on in the field? When was the first time you presented your findings and discovered what you were working on was important to others? Your support will help us send groups of students to local conferences to become more engaged in the field and motivated to move forward in a research related career. Your support will also allow students to present their research findings at national conferences, both enhancing the reputation of SJSU and strengthening the professional development of our students.
