Final Call for T-Shirt Order Donations!

May 06, 2020

Hello All!

This is a final reminder that our "Open House" Crowdfunding Campaign is coming to a close this Friday, May 8th. If you have been waiting to order one of this year's open house t-shirts, now is the time to do it! We will be ordering them shortly after the campaign closes, so don't miss out on your opportunity for a 2020 Open House shirt.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the entire campaign, we are so lucky to have such a supportive community. We look forward to supporting our students' scholarships in the future with the $21,000+ in donations that we have raised this year.

Best regards,

Sierra Fullmer, Katie Neylan, Bennett Bugbee and the Crowdfunding Committee

10 days left and almost $20,000 raised! THANK YOU!

April 28, 2020

Hello all!

Thank you to all who 'attended' our MLML Virtual Open House event this past weekend, highlighting the history of Moss Landing Marine Laboratories annual Open House and the many things we study at our facility. After this weekend's activity on social media, we have almost reached $20,000 in donations. This is absolutely amazing and we couldn't be more grateful! You have enabled us the opportunity to support so many of our students in their research efforts. This certainly helps relieve some of the disappointment of not being able to open our doors to our community this year. We look forward to letting you know the final outcome of the massive amount of support from this amazing community in just 10 days! Remember, if you are waiting to buy an Open House t-shirt for this year, now is your time! Thank you all and a very big thank you to all of our donors!

Best,

Sierra Fullmer and the Crowdfunding Committee

16,500 THANK YOUS

April 16, 2020

It has officially been 1 week since starting our campaign and we have already raised over $16,500! This will cover all of our student scholarships and allow us to offer several more! From all the MLML students to our donors, we want to say a HUGE thank you! Without your donations and help sharing the page, we would not have been able to be so successful. This has been an amazing start to our campaign, which we are very grateful for. The campaign will continue to be active until May 8th, for those who may still be interested in donating, or purchasing a t-shirt, so feel free to watch the video many more times, and keep on sharing the page with those who may be interested.

Thank you again - it cannot be said enough.

We're increasing our goal!

April 09, 2020

Thank you so much for all of your support! It's incredible how quickly this entire community has stepped up to make this such a successful campaign. We are beyond grateful for all of the donations we have received!

After speaking with the crowdfunding team, we have made the decision to increase our goal to $15,000, with the intent of providing more student scholarships with the additional donations! Please keep sharing our page so we can maximally assist the students of Moss Landing with all their research efforts!

Thank you again,

Sierra and the MLML crowdfunding team
